狮子、狼和狐狸（Lions, wolves and foxes）

年老的狮子重病躺在洞里。除了狐狸之外，动物们都去问候国王。狼便趁机在狮子面前诬陷狐狸，说狐狸胆大包天，藐视大王，竟敢不来问候。正在此时，狐狸进来了，听到了狼所说的最后几句。狮子一见到狐狸就怒吼起来，狐狸马上请求让他解释几句。他说：在所有向大王问候的动物之中，有谁像我这样忠诚，为你四处奔走，遍访名医，寻找妙方呢？狮子立即命令他将药方说出来。狐狸说：将狼的皮活剥下，趁热裹在身上。狼立刻成为一具尸体，躺在了那里。狐狸得意地笑着说：你不应当怂恿主人起恶念，而应该诱导他发善心才对呀。

寓意：常常算计别人的人，往往会自食其果。

The old lion lay seriously ill in the cave. All the animals went to greet the king except the fox. The wolf took the opportunity to frame the fox in front of the lion, saying that the fox was bold and despised the king, and dared not greet him. Just then, the fox came in and heard the last words of the wolf. The lion roared at the sight of the fox. The fox immediately asked him to explain. He said: among all the animals greeting the king, who is as loyal as me, running around for you, visiting famous doctors and looking for a recipe? The lion immediately ordered him to say the prescription. The fox said: peel off the wolf's skin alive and wrap it on the body while it is hot. The wolf immediately became a corpse and lay there. The fox smiled proudly and said: you should not encourage the master to have evil thoughts, but should induce him to be kind.

Moral: those who often calculate others will often suffer the consequences.

狮子和老鼠（Lion and mouse）

狮子睡着了，有只老鼠跳到了他身上。狮子猛然站起来，把他抓住，准备吃掉。老鼠请求饶命，并说如果保住性命，必将报恩，狮子轻蔑地笑了笑，便把他放走了。不久，狮子真的被老鼠救了性命。原来狮子被一个猎人抓获，并用绳索把他捆在一棵树上。老鼠听到了他的哀嚎，走过去咬断绳索，放走了狮子，并说：“你当时嘲笑我，不相信能得到我的报答，现在可清楚了，老鼠也能报恩。”
寓意：时运交替变更，强者也会有需要弱者的时候。

The lion fell asleep and a mouse jumped on him. The lion stood up suddenly, caught him and was ready to eat. The mouse asked for mercy and said that if he saved his life, he would repay his kindness. The lion smiled contemptuously and let him go. Soon, the lion was really saved by the mouse. The lion was caught by a hunter and tied to a tree with a rope. When the mouse heard his cry, he went over and bit the rope, let the lion go, and said, "you laughed at me and didn't believe you could get my reward. Now it's clear that the mouse can repay me."

Moral: Fortune alters, and the strong will need the weak.
