So Women’s Lib is really a reply to the new electric conditions of employment in which huge information is available simultaneously to everybody. In the electric world, the simultaneity of information is acoustic in the form that it comes from all directions at once. You hear from all directions at once. Electric information comes from all directions at once, and when information comes from all directions simultaneously, you are living in an acoustic world. It doesn’t matter whether you’re listening or not, the fact is you’re getting this acoustic pattern.

因此，妇女解放运动实际上是对就业的新电子环境一种回应，在这电子环境中，巨量的信息对于每个人都是同时可获得的。在电子世界里，信息的同步性在形态意义上是听觉的，信息同时来自各个方向。你同时收到所有方向的信息。电子信息同时来自四面八方，而当信息同时来自一切方向的时候，你就生活在一个听觉世界里。你是否在听并不重要，事实是你正在学会这种听觉模式。

按：光电速度的同步性造成信息同时来自所有方向，这样的信息形态是听觉的，因此电子人都是听觉人，不再是视觉人。在电子时代，无论书面-机械人是否在注意听，他的信息模式都是听觉的，看都是听，视听都是用听觉模式去接收信息。

在电子时代，冲击书面-机械制度习俗的每一种群体运动，都是对信息模式的切换的回应。
