To come back momentarily to the problem of Illich and the problem of organized ignorance, Illich says we must close our schools because the answers are now outside, and let the kids go back to work and run around the community and get an education. I’m suggesting that the answer is not that, but to put the questions in the classroom, and to start a real dialogue there.

让我们回顾一下伊里奇的问题和那个有组织的无知的问题。伊里奇说，因为答案如今在校外，我们必须关闭我们的学校，让孩子们回家去用功并结成群，从而接受一种教育。我的意思是，答案不是这样的，而是把问题放进教室里，然后在那里开始一场真正的对话。

麦克卢汉教授是吃教育这碗饭的，反对关闭学校，主张保留教室，要改革在教室里改。这体现出书面-机械人很难摆脱的容器观。
