机场里的T1，T2，T3到底什么意思？“T”又是什么？

在旅游旺季的时候，无论地铁高铁，还是在机场上，似乎都是水泄不通。那在机场的时候，你是否发现指示牌上的 T1,T2, T3 ，这里的 T 代表什么，又起着什么样的作用呢？

这里的 T 其实是对应英语中的 terminal，表示航站楼的意思，由于客流量不断增多，原有的航站楼已不能满足需求，于是对机场进行扩建，便有了 T2,T3 的新航站楼。

Your flight to Perth will leave from Terminal 4.

您乘坐的前往珀斯的航班将在4号航站楼起飞。

You are not allowed in the terminal without a ticket.

没有票你不得进入航站楼。

终点站

在机场我们会有 T1,T2,T3 指代 terminal，此外，在地铁中，我们也会经常听到这个词语，但是在地铁里，terminal 就不是表示航站楼了意思了， 它表示最后一站的意思。

除了用 terminal 表示终点站外，还可以用 destination 表示：

知道 terminal 有终点站，终点的意思外，我们也不难理解它可以表示为末端，极限，计算机终端，线接头的意思。

check (something) in 或者是 check in (something) 可以理解为办理（行李）托运。

接下来的安检 security check，乘客需要向工作人员出示登机牌，并通过金属探测器门。

为了您和其他乘客的安全，请接受安检。

最后，准备好护照和登机牌 boarding pass 进行登机 boarding
