昨天珠江地产销售部的人加了我，他们想做个集装箱公寓样板房，作为从地产圈子出来创业的人，我知道是策划人员写PPT,并通过沟通知道是他的上司想了解价格，我知道这个人只能问，没什么价值，就提前帮他上上课，让他了解他们销售部能挣钱的方法，并知会工程不是他们管的，不要成为炮灰！

Yesterday, the people from the Pearl River Real Estate Sales Department added me. They want to make a model apartment for a container. As a person who has started a business out of the real estate circle, I know that the planner wrote the PPT, and through communication, they know that it is his boss who wants to know the price, i know this person can only ask, nothing valuable, help him to take classes in advance, let him understand their sales department can make money, and inform the project is not in their charge, do not become cannon fodder!

Center for Plant Science

墙和栅栏通常用来隔开人和区域，但在沙漠植物园，一系列不同寻常的结构实际上将人们聚集在一起。我们结合木材，混凝土，钢铁，石头和块，创造了各种丰富的纹理和高度功能的分离器，物理上划分和视觉上连接的开放空间。花园还需要一种方法，将园艺中心的“前部”与“后部”操作分离开来，同时允许公众在一定程度上进入并理解建筑的目的和创新。许多不那么有趣的设计被搁置在木板上，直到 salenger 构想出一个巨大的石头和石笼墙，它们不仅具有实用性，而且还给园艺志愿者提供了参与其中的机会。

Walls and fences are typically used to keep people and areas separate, but at the Desert Botanical Garden an unusual series of structures actually brought people together. We combined wood, concrete, steel, stone and block to create a variety of richly textured and highly functional separators that both physically pided and visually connected open spaces. The Garden also needed a means to separate the “front of house” from “back of house” operations at the Horticultural Center, while allowing the public some degree of access and understanding of the building’s purpose and innovation. Many less interesting designs languished on the boards until Salenger conceived a Great Wall of boulders and gabions that were not only functional, but gave garden volunteers an opportunity to get involved as well.

每一块“牙签石”都是根据其长度和特征选择的——必须将整整三分之一的石头埋在地下以支撑其自身重量。虽然每块岩石的高度不同，但岩石的顶部通过不同高度的埋藏来排列，使得最终结果看起来比实际上要轻松得多。超过436吨的岩石，从金曼的一个采石场运下来，花了三个星期才把24块石头放好。

Each “toothpick boulder” was selected for its length and character – a full 1/3 of the boulder must be buried underground in order to support its own weight. While each rock was a different height, the tops were aligned by burying the boulders at varying heights, making the end result look much more effortless than it actually was. Over 436 tons of rock were brought down from a quarry in Kingman, and it took three weeks to set the 24 boulders in place.
