亚洲国家如何庆祝农历新年 Lunar New Year

自古以来,春节就是中华民族最隆重、最热闹的传统佳节。但是,并不是只有中国人才过农历新年,韩国、越南、泰国、印度尼西亚、马来西亚等亚洲国家同样也会庆祝春节。亚洲人的新年节俗丰富而有特色,许多传统的庆祝方式至今盛行。一起看看亚洲各国人们如何欢度农历新年~

The Lunar New Year has typically been called the Chinese New Year.

农历新年通常被称为中国新年。

That's not wrong, and it's not right.

这其实不完全准确。

There's a whole another group of Asian countries that also celebrate based on the lunar calendar.

还有另外一群亚洲国家也以农历为基础来庆祝新年。

「Most east Asian countries celebrate the holiday between late January and early February. 」

大多数东亚国家在1月底到2月初庆祝新年。

「Many southeast Asians and south Asians celebrate between late March and early April. 」

许多东南亚人和南亚人会在3月底到4月初庆祝。

「The lion dance is a tradition in many countries. 」

舞狮是许多国家庆祝新年的传统活动。

They're really warding off the evil spirits, which is the intention of the dance, to get rid of all the evil things that have happened in the year before and to welcome boldly the new year.

「Small gifts of money are another custom. 」

Red is supposed to be prosperity, health, so if you ever went to a Chinese New Year dinner, and you were wearing white or black, you should just go home and change.

红色应该是繁荣、健康的象征,所以如果你去参加中国新年晚宴,穿成白色或黑色,你应该回家换身合适的衣服。

A lot of the celebratory components center on food, a lot of food.

很多庆祝的元素都集中在食物上,很多食物。

「New Year dishes are rich with symbolism. 」

「South Korea Tteokguk-good luck. 」

It's a tradition that we get to celebrate here, even though most people who celebrate are halfway around the world, and to share it and share boldly I think is very, very special.
