国际护士节是每年的5月12日，是为纪念现代护理学科的创始人弗洛伦斯·南丁格尔于1912年设立的节日。其基本宗旨是倡导、继承和弘扬南丁格尔不畏艰险、甘于奉献、救死扶伤、勇于献身的人道主义精神。今天是第110个国际护士节，让我们致敬最可爱的白衣天使们。

To be a nurse requires a special type of selflessness and strength to be able to walk alongside another person during their most vulnerable moments.

成为一名护士需要一种与众不同的无私精神和力量，要能够在病人最脆弱的时候陪伴在他们身边。

But the job of a nurse is not an easy one.

A nurse must be a friend, advocate, confidante, technician, critical thinker, cool under pressure, physically and mentally strong, and of course great at caring.
