这场半程马拉松，如同一条灵动的丝线，串起了平凉满城风光与人文盛景。赛事起于平凉市体育运动公园，跑者们沿泾河南路、兴北路、柳湖中路、新科路、崆峒大道一路向前，至甘家坟折返，最终奔赴崆峒古镇终点。赛道串联起泾河生态廊道的绿意盎然、柳湖公园的温婉雅致、崆峒山风景区的雄奇秀美，跑者沿途远眺崆峒山的巍峨神韵，近赏泾河水的悠悠碧波，一步一景皆如画。

赛道两旁，市民们自发列队，用热烈欢呼迎接每一位跑者；志愿者们全程坚守、暖心陪护；本地商家更是拿出特色美食，盛情款待每一位完赛选手，满城温情与赛事热血相融。

On May 2, 2026, the Pingliang Half Marathon ignited passion across the entire city! I watched the live broadcast online and witnessed 5,000 runners travel across mountains and rivers to gather in Pingliang. They spared no effort and competed bravely on the track, interpreting the never-give-up sports spirit with their perspiration!

Pingliang, my hometown, the place where I was born and raised, has long been known as the first city beyond Chang'an to the west. Over the past decade or so, Pingliang has witnessed remarkable and breathtaking changes: wider streets, taller buildings, increasing traffic flow, brighter city night scenes, thriving commerce and trade, and a brand-new urban look. Such tremendous changes fill us with emotion and joy!

This half marathon has strung together the most stunning sceneries of Pingliang. Starting from Pingliang Sports Park, the race route runs along Jinghe South Road, Xingbei Road, Liuhu Middle Road, Xinke Road, Kongtong Avenue, turns back at Ganjiafen, and ends at Kongtong Ancient Town. It connects the Jinghe Ecological Belt, Liuhu Park and Kongtong Mountain Scenic Area. Runners can overlook the majestic Kongtong Mountain and admire the serene Jinghe River along the way.

Citizens lined up to welcome the runners along the route; volunteers provided thoughtful support throughout the race; local merchants presented special local foods to warmly treat the finishers!

The enthusiastic citizens, the grand event atmosphere, and the striving runners have illuminated and energized the city of Pingliang!
