祝贺西夏陵列入《世界遗产名录》China's newest world heritage

7 月 6 日至 16 日，联合国教科文组织世界遗产委员会第 47 届大会在巴黎联合国教科文组织总部举行。世界遗产委员会是《保护世界文化和自然遗产公约》的两大理事机构之一。委员会每年举行一次常会，委员会成员由《公约》缔约国大会选出的21个国家代表组成。比利时是 21 个成员国之一。

在世界遗产委员会大会期间，委员会将审议提名列入《教科文组织世界遗产名录》的遗产。

西夏陵位于中国宁夏回族自治区、贺兰山南段东麓，是西夏王朝的皇室陵园，包括9座帝王陵墓、271座陪葬墓、5.7公顷北端建筑群以及32处防洪工程遗址。该遗址生动展现了西夏王朝的宗教与社会政治传统。

From July 6-16, the 47th gathering of UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee is taking place at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The World Heritage Committee is one of the two bodies governing the Convention for the Protection of the World’s Cultural and Natural Heritage. It meets once a year, and consists of representatives from 21 of the States Parties to the Convention elected by their General Assembly. Belgium is one of the 21 members.

During the gathering of the World Heritage Committee, the addition of new cultural sites to the UNESCO World Heritage List is examined.

Located in the foothills of the southern Helan Mountains in Ningxia, this necropolis is the imperial cemetery of the Xixia Dynasty. It includes nine imperial mausoleums, 271 subordinate tombs, a northern architectural complex, and 32 flood control structures. The property reflects the dynasty’s religious and socio-political legacy.
