华裔导演萧南馨出席第十五届北京国际电影节

第十五届北京国际电影节，4月18～26日在北京隆重举行！由中央电视总台，北京市人民政府，北京广播电视台主办和承办。4月24日北京国际电影节一光影艺术节“爱电影、爱北京”在北京朗园Station 隆重举办！

北京国际电影节的广阔舞台，激发大众对电影艺术的热爱与探索，成为人人参与的电影节。用艺术之光点亮城市的每一个角落，让电影成为连接本土与国际的桥梁！著名华裔导演萧南馨出席第十五届北京国际电影节光影艺术节上台讲话、分享她的影视作品《狮醒 II The Rise of Lion II》，并获得优秀作品荣誉证书！

The 15th Beijing International Film Festival will be held in Beijing from April 18th to 26th! Hosted and organized by China Central Television, Beijing Municipal People's Government, and Beijing Radio and Television Station. On April 24th, the "Love Film, Love Beijing" Light and Shadow Art Festival of the Beijing International Film Festival was grandly held at Langyuan Station in Beijing!

The vast stage of the Beijing International Film Festival inspires the public's love and exploration of film art, making it a film festival that everyone participates in. Famous Chinese director Michelle Xin. attended the 15th Beijing International Film Festival Light and Shadow Art Festival to give a speech and share her film and television work "The Rise of Lion II", and was awarded the of excellent work!

萧南馨导演接受媒体专访时说：她很荣幸能出席北京国际电影节，把来自马来西亚的故事带到国际舞台。萧南馨导演她带来了影视作品《狮醒 II The Rise of Lion II》｜马中合拍电影，一部关于坚持与信念的故事，根植于舞狮这传统文化艺术。

萧南馨导演她非常期待未来能有更多跨国合作的机会，把更多马来西亚的故事带向世界，也把世界的精彩带回我们的本地社区。

Director Michelle Xin said in a media interview that she is honored to attend the Beijing International Film Festival and bring stories from Malaysia to the international stage. Director Michelle Xin brought the film and television work "The Rise of Lion II" | a Malaysia China co production film, a story about perseverance and faith rooted in the traditional cultural art of lion dance.

Director Michelle Xin is looking forward to more opportunities for cross-border cooperation in the future, bringing more stories from Malaysia to the world and bringing the wonders of the world back to Malaysia.

萧南馨，毕业于沙巴艺术学院电影制作课程，并在 Creative Reality Center 深入学习

了视觉特效、动态图形与视频制作。目前，她正在攻读创意艺术硕士学位。

作为一位才华横溢的导演，萧导凭借首部短片荣获亚庇国际电影节（Kota Kinabalu

International Film Festival）观众与评审团选择奖，并以首部电影《狮醒》成为首位

沙巴华人女导演，该影片在多个国际电影节斩获殊荣。

她在前期制作、制作及后期制作方面积累了丰富经验，涉猎电视电影、电影、商业广告及

短片制作。她始终致力于在每个项目中呈现最高质量的作品，并勇于接受一切能提升电影

制作的创新理念。凭借对前沿技术、预算安排及客户需求的精准把控，她努力创作出具有

深刻意义与强烈感染力的电影。

目前，萧导刚刚完成两部电影的制作：

《North Borneo Crisis》北婆罗洲往事，一部讲述北婆罗洲二战历史的电影。

《The Rise of Lion II》狮醒II, 马来西亚首部由 AI 技术驱动的电影。

她不断突破界限，探索电影艺术的更多可能性。

FILM DIRECTOR & PRODUCER

Michelle Xin graduated from Sabah Institute of Art with a major in Film Production and

further honed her skills in Visual Effects, Motion Graphics, and Video Production at the

Creative Reality Center. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Creative Arts.

As a talented director, Michelle made her mark in the industry by winning the Audience and

Jury Choice Awards at the Kota Kinabalu International Film Festival with her debut short

film. Her first feature film, "The Rise of Lion", made history by establishing her as the first

Chinese female director in Sabah, earning multiple prestigious awards.

With extensive experience in pre-production, production, and post-production, she has

worked across various formats, including TV movies, feature films, commercials, and short

films. Dedicated to delivering the highest quality in every project, she embraces innovative

approaches to elevate filmmaking. With a keen understanding of cutting-edge technology,

budget management, and client needs, she strives to create films that are both deeply meaningful

and emotionally compelling.

Currently, Michelle has just completed the production of two films:

 "North Borneo Crisis" – A World War II film set in North Borneo.

 "The Rise of Lion II" – Malaysia’s first AI-driven film.

She continues to push boundaries and explore new possibilities in the world of cinema.
