WomenINdesign-MomDesigners' Green and Creative Journey

活动宗旨：

此次活动聚焦于妈妈设计师们在设计领域所展现出的卓越创新能力和可持续发展理念，尤其强调通过“变废为宝”和“再生循环”的环保手段，呈现女性设计师在解决社会和环境问题上的独特视角和实际行动。

Objectives: The event focused on the creative excellence and sustainability of mom designers in the various design field, with a particular emphasis on environmental protection through waste-to-treasure and recycling/upcycling, presents the unique perspective and practical actions of female designers in solving social and environmental problems.

活动详情：

1.可持续设计作品征集：

热忱邀请妈妈设计师们提交采用环保材料或通过变废为宝、再生循环等方式创作的设计作品，覆盖建筑与景观设计、产品设计（含日常生活用品）、服装设计（可持续时尚）、珠宝设计（日常使用）、包装设计、手工织造或制作（含非遗传承）等领域。期待看到她们如何将废弃资源转化为富含美学价值和实用功能的设计精品。

Design Works Collection: MomDesigners are warmly invited to submit the design works using environmental-friendly materials or through the ways of waste-to-treasure, recycling/upcycling and so on, covering architecture and landscape design, product design (including daily necessities) , clothing design (sustainable fashion) , jewelry design (daily use) , packaging design, hand weaving or crafting and other relevant fields.

2.环保理念与工艺：

作品应当清晰展示其在设计与生产过程中的环保理念和实际应用，如使用可再生资源、优化生命周期设计、减少碳足迹、提倡零废弃等。妈妈设计师们将环保意识贯穿于作品构思、材质选择到最终形态的形成，以此引领绿色生活方式和消费观念。

Principles and Methods: the work should clearly show its environmental concept and practical application in the design and production process, such as the use of renewable resources, optimize life cycle design, reduce carbon footprint, zero waste and so on. The designers will be environmentally aware throughout the design, material selection to the final form of the work, leading to a green lifestyle and responsible consumption concept.

3.作品提交规范：

作品可以以图片（jpg, ai, png, pdf等)和/或小视频（长度不超过3分钟）上传⏫，或实物方式邮寄提交（邮寄地址请联系项目协调员确定）。

Scan to Submit Your Work

上传作品同时，配以不超过300字描述或不超过5张PPT/PDF，描述作品所使用的可持续理念、环保材料及其循环利用方式，辅助提供作品从原料到成品的转变过程记录或者关键步骤的图片记录，以及作品在减少浪费、保护环境方面的具体贡献。

Submission Specifics: Works can be uploaded as images (JPG, AI, PNG, PDF, etc.) and/or small videos (no more than 3 minutes in length) , or submit by physical mail (please contact the project coordinator for the mailing address) .

Upload the work with no more than 300 words or 5 PPT slides/PDF pages describing the sustainable concept, environmental materials and recycling methods used in the work, provide supporting documentation of the process or key steps of the work's transformation from raw material to finished product, as well as specific contributions of the work to reducing waste and protecting the environment.

4.征集时间安排：

作品征集活动自即日起至2024年12月31日24:00结束。

Time: The collection period will run from now on until 24:00 hours, December 31st, 2024.

5.评选与展览规划：

评委会成员将由联合发起机构代表组成，所有作品经评委会甄选，脱颖而出的设计作品将于2025年3月8日至3月20日在北京798艺术园区举行主题——「她·设计·力量——妈妈设计师的绿色创想之旅」展览，同期举办“2025·女性设计与可持续未来”研讨会，深入探讨女性设计师在推进可持续设计和性别公平方面的重要作用。

Selection and Exhibition Plan: the members of the jury will be composed of representatives of the co-initiators, and all works will be selected by the jury, the winning designs will be on display at the Beijing 798 Art Zone from 8 March to 20 March 2025 under the theme “WomenINdesign-MomDesigners' Green and Creative Journey”, a seminar entitled “2025: Women's Design and a Sustainable Future” will also be held to explore the crucial role of women designers in promoting sustainable design and gender equity.
