事无巨细（No Task is too Small）

古人云：“天下大事，必作于细。”想要成就一番大业，就要从做好周边的小事做起。

An ancient saying goes: "To accomplish great things, start with small things." To achieve great success, one should always start with the small things around him.

小事看似不起眼，但却能反映一个人最真实的面貌：认真负责的人，会注重细节，不因大小而改变做事的态度；做事马虎的人，往往会忽略细节，或是急功近利。

Those seemingly insignificant matters often reflect a person's true character. Responsible and attentive people pay attention to details and maintain the same attitude no matter the size of the task; people who are careless and hasty often neglect details, or are driven by the impulse for quick success and rewards.

大事与小事相辅相成，平时不注意小事的积累，一旦遇到大事，也容易慌乱失措。 所以，对待小事也要细心，才能有能力应对大事。

Big and small matters are complementary to each other. Without paying attention to the accumulation of small details, one may easily feel overwhelmed when faced with a challenge. Therefore, one should be meticulous in dealing with small matters in order to be able to handle big matters.
