A certain level of timeline clarity was provided Monday in regard to the expected absences of both Steph Curry and Gary Payton II. Curry spoke to reporters before the game against the Wizards. The Warriors have dreams of life in April, May and June that feel like a year ago. Curry returned from a foot injury right before the playoffs. Payton returned from a scary elbow injury during the playoffs. They were whole enough for long enough to power past the finish line and win the title.
