《去海滩》

朋友们，

杰克逊要和爸爸去海滩了，

爸爸让他自己装需要的物品，

他都装了些什么东西呢？

We’re going to the beach, said Dad,

handing Jackson a bag.

You can pack some things to take along.

“我们要去海滩”爸爸说，

递给杰克逊一个包。

“你可以带一些东西去。”

Jackson looked in his toy box and said,

I want my toys.

He put a pail, a shovel, and a ball in the bag.

杰克逊看了看他的玩具箱后说，

“我想带玩具。”

他在包里放了一个水桶、一把铲子和一个球。

Next, Jackson added his beach-rock collection to the bag.

He said,I want my rocks.

接下来，杰克逊将他收集的海滩石头放进了包里。

他说：“我想带我的石头。”

There was still room,

so Jackson added books about birds and fish,

saying, I want my books.

包里还有空间，

于是杰克逊有放进去了一些关于鸟和鱼的书，

他说道：“我想带我的书。”

Then Jackson skipped into the bathroom

to get his favorite rubber ducky from the tub.

I want my ducky.

然后，杰克逊跑到洗手间，

从浴缸里拿起他最喜欢的橡皮鸭。

“我想带我的小鸭子。”

When Jackson tried to lift the heavy bag,

he said, How heavy!

Dad shook his head.

You’ll have to take something out.

当杰克逊试图提起沉重的包时，

他说:“好重啊！”

爸爸摇了摇头。

“你得拿出点东西来。”

So Jackson took out the duck and said, All set!

于是杰克逊拿出了小鸭子说：“好了！”

Tell you what, said Dad with a smile.

If you’ll carry these towels for me, I’ll carry the bag for you.

“跟你说，”爸爸笑着说。

“如果你帮我拿着这些毛巾，

我会帮你提包。”

All right, said Jackson.

“没问题

And off they went to the beach.

然后他们去了海滩。
